Before you can start arranging life insurance and critical illness cover for your clients you will need to open an agency with HSBC Life. You’ll then be able register to use HSBC Life Access — your online adviser portal, to manage in-progress applications and service your clients. Note: quotes and applications  are initiated via your sourcing system  – Iress  The Exchange, Webline, iPipeline or UnderwriteMe.   

Company application or no agency held 

If your company does not yet have an agency with HSBC Life, please ask them to complete the Terms of Business application form on this link: https://www.lifeprotectionplan.hsbc.co.uk/Broker/Registration  

Individual Registration 

If your company already holds an agency, please ask them to email lifebdmsupport@hsbc.co.uk to progress your individual registration and log in.  They will need to give your salutation, full name, contact telephone number, email address and access required advisor/admin/both 

Your clients can use HSBC Life Access to keep personal details and circumstances up to date and view all their policy documentation.  

Typical reasons to update policy details include:  

• Moving to a new address 

• Changing name 

• Changing bank accounts for premium payments 

• Reviewing cover level 

• Placing cover in trust
